Camille attended NYC's High School of the Arts (The FAME school), where she studied Vocal music and picked up (and ran with) "Stepping" along the way. During those years, she sang back-up for the late Denroy Morgan, Morgan Heritage, and Natalie Cole. She then, continued onto coordinating and choreographing for 'Miss Talented Teen Pageants' in her local community, getting support from the community so that contestants payed for little or nothing and could focus on the artistic and not the financial aspect of the Pageants.
In 1995, the entity, CAMILLE WHO? was created. A one-stop shop for creative/artistic endeavors, consultation and education, that allowed Camille to engage with just about any organization, group or individual who sought after artistic consult, a live performance or a workshop taught in music, rhythm, movement or theatre.
Since 2012, Camille has been choreographing musicals in the Lehigh Valley. These shows include The Little Mermaid, The Happy Elf where she worked closely with Harry Connick, Jr. composing and choreographing for the play, Shrek the Musical-where she also played "Donkey", Oliver!, Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, and Willy Wonka, Jr., Frozen, Jr., Aida, West Side Story, and much more.
CAMILLE WHO? has worked all over the country as front woman for SoulRagga and bands like Steve Kimock & Friends, Bernie Worrell Orchestra (for whom she's written melodies and lyrics for) and Colorado’s The Motet. In the Lehigh Valley, she has continued to follow her natural passion for teaching as a Movement and Drama Instructor and a choreographer at Pennsylvania Youth Theater for 15 years—where she founded and directed the Body Percussion company BodyMusic and the Hip-Hop & Rhythms company BOUNCE!; as a consultant and performing/teaching artist at public/private schools and various dance schools, colleges, step teams, marching bands and dance troupes; the list goes on. Hence, the name CAMILLE WHO?
As a child-caretaker for 40 years, endearingly named “The Child Whisperer”, CAMILLE WHO? has graced the homes of families she’s nannied for, has shared her wealth of knowledge and wisdom to first-time parents, and continues to offer support and practical insights and tools as an ongoing supporter of the families she’s helped. Most recently she has written and published a book on speech correction, is currently writing a parenting book, recording a lullaby album, and has officially begun her journey as an online Course Creator and Coach for first-time parents as they embark on their journey raising the next generation of leaders, creators and problem-solvers.
In 1998, Camille, at the time a mother of 3, was hired as a cast member of the Off-Broadway and Touring show, STOMP, where she performed and toured for 10 years. There, Camille learned how to play hand drums and just about everything else including the kitchen sink, which broadened her horizons in "Stepping" and became a master at 'Body Percussion', a form of music and movement that allows us to make music with our bodies, including our voices. During her STOMP days, Camille passed on her knowledge, by way of master classes, in England, France, Switzerland, Canada, Korea, and all over the U.S. including Alaska and Hawaii.
In 2006 Camille performed Me, Myself, and I…Won't Stop! at Bethlehem’s Touchstone Theatre. A one-woman show written, directed and performed by herself. In the same year she began fronting a newly resurrected band from New Jersey called Post Junction and left the band 4 years later after recording the album, That Day, with the original Lehigh Valley line-up of Jon Fadem, John Kimock and Peter Fritz.
In 2010, Camille founded a Soul/Reggae band called 'SoulRagga' (pronounced sole' rahh' gahh), where she was the composer, director, front woman, lead vocalist and percussionist. They released an award-winning album in 2015 entitled “First Comes Love”.
